WHAT WE DO

Background

The Jamii Kwanza Initiative (JKI) is a non-profit organization registered in Tanzania, located in Dar es Salaam, that aims to transform communities, develop leaders, and end gender-based violence against children and women. We promote capacity building on development issues such as planning, implementation, management, and operations for community leaders and religious groups, empowering them to make responsible decisions, manage resources, develop projects and small businesses, and cultivate entrepreneurship, leadership, good governance.
