The Jamii Kwanza Initiative (JKI) is a non-profit organization registered in Tanzania
We are dedicated to transforming lives by promoting sustainable development through initiatives that target the most vulnerable and underserved communities. Our organization is deeply committed to education improvement, clean and safe water access, and social empowerment through gender justice, economic opportunities, and leadership development.
We believe that when individuals especially youth and women are equipped with the right tools, skills, and knowledge, they become the cornerstone of resilient, self-reliant, and ethically governed communities. JKI serves as a tool to mobilize local and international resources to uplift communities spiritually, socially, and economically

Objective
To empower individuals, groups, and communities to engage in addressing their potential, skills, and opportunities in realizing the resources surrounding them for holistic sustainable livelihoods through entrepreneurship, Leadership, and good governance.

Construct, renovate, and support schools to offer conducive learning environments, especially for vulnerable children.

Provide clean and reliable water through well drilling and water harvesting systems in underserved areas.

Train community, youth, and religious leaders in governance, ethics, family stability, and economic development.

Create awareness and implement programs that prevent GBV and empower survivors with education and support systems.

About the Founder
Daniel Migera serves as the founder and the CEO of the Jamii Kwanza Initiative organization in Tanzania and USA. Driven by a fervent desire to impact lives positively and a profound dedication to community development, Migera has devoted his life to empowering individuals and fostering sustainable communities. He has garnered recognition for his endeavors in advancing educational opportunities, ensuring access to clean water for all, promoting economic development, and advocating for social justice and human rights. Through his exemplary leadership and skills, Migera has emerged as a respected voice not only in Tanzania but also beyond, inspiring numerous individuals to join him in the mission of create a better world for everyone.
