ABOUT US

The Jamii Kwanza Initiative (JKI) is a non-profit organization registered in Tanzania

Located in Dar es Salaam, that aims to transform communities, develop leaders, and end gender-based violence against children and women. We promote capacity building on development issues such as planning, implementation, management, and operations for community leaders and religious groups, empowering them to make responsible decisions, manage resources, develop projects and small businesses, and cultivate entrepreneurship, leadership, good governance.

Empowered and transformed communities, groups, and individuals attain holistic sustainability and
are capable of saying no to any harmful practices in the community.

Mission

Equip and empower individuals, groups, and communities to address their socioeconomic challenges through empowerment leadership and facilitating skills that leverage
transformative change and sustainable development in society.

Objective

To empower individuals, groups, and communities to engage in addressing their potential, skills, and opportunities in realizing the resources surrounding them for holistic sustainable livelihoods through entrepreneurship, Leadership, and good governance.

Through the facilitation of events such as training’s, conferences, meetings,
symposia, and workshops, we will engage in dialogues and disseminate data
and information related to spiritual empowerment, small development
business, and holistic development.

About the Founder

Daniel Migera serves as the CEO and founder of the Jamii Kwanza Initiative organization in Tanzania and USA. Driven by a fervent desire to impact lives positively and a profound dedication to community development, Migera has devoted his life to empowering individuals and fostering sustainable communities. He has garnered recognition for his endeavors in advancing educational opportunities, ensuring access to clean water for all, promoting economic development, and advocating for social justice and human rights. Through his exemplary leadership and skills, Migera has emerged as a respected voice not only in Tanzania but also beyond, inspiring numerous individuals to join him in the mission of create a better world for everyone.
